2. Ask who shows up on the day
The person who pitches you in the first meeting should not disappear once the contract is signed. Ask by name who your on-site coordinator will be, and how many people from that company will physically be present during your event.
3. Ask about their worst day
Any planner who claims twelve years without a single problem is not being honest with you. The better question is how they handled load-shedding mid-reception, a late caterer, or a monsoon downpour over an outdoor nikkah. The answer tells you everything about their production depth.
4. Visit one of their live events, not just their portfolio
Photos are edited; a live event is not. If a planner cannot arrange for you to see a build in progress or attend part of a real event, treat that as a signal.
5. Check how they handle vendors you already trust
Many Lahore families already have a caterer or a videographer they love.
